terms of use

The fine print,

FUC Money · Last updated: July 23, 2026

The short version. FUC Money is an educational and wellness tool to help you build a calmer relationship with money. It is not financial advice, and we are not licensed financial advisors. Be kind to yourself, and talk to a qualified professional for decisions about your actual finances.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FUC Money ("we," "us"), the maker of The 10-Second Look and related tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service is

The Service is a mindfulness and journaling experience built around your feelings about money — a daily ritual, a reflection calculator, and a supportive community view. It is designed to help you look at and feel better about your money. It does not connect to your bank, move money, or manage investments.

2. Not financial advice

We are educators, not licensed financial advisors, and nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The Service does not recommend products or tell you what to do with your money. For decisions about your finances, consult a qualified professional you trust.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

4. Your account

Using the Service requires an account — created with your email and a password, or with Sign in with Apple — so your history can follow you across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app (Settings → "delete my account & data").

5. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't: break the law; attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or try to game, spam, or manipulate the community features.

6. Your content

The things you log (like the feeling you choose) are yours. By using the Service you allow us to store and process this content to operate the Service and to show anonymous, aggregate community numbers (for example, "how many people felt anxious today"). We never publish who felt what. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Our content

The Service, including its name, brand, design, and copy, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Please don't copy or reuse it without permission.

8. Third-party services

We rely on providers like Supabase, PostHog, and Apple to run the Service. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and our Privacy Policy.

9. The Service is provided "as is"

We work hard to make the Service helpful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, accurate, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is a reflection tool — decisions about your money are your own.

11. Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
